Once again, Attorney (H) Søren Vasegaard Andreasen from Paragraf Advokaterne has won a case regarding area deficiencies at a property.
The property, located in Aarhus, had been sold as if the basement was legally habitable, which it turned out was not. An inspection and valuation confirmed that the property had suffered a significant loss in value as a result, and the seller was ordered by the Court of Aarhus to pay compensation to the buyers.
The case once again shows the importance of having control over the BBR owner notification before selling your house.
