Most campers are familiar with the Tempo 100 approval, which allows the holder to drive 100 km/h with a caravan on German motorways and roads.
Tempo 100 will soon also become a reality in Denmark, when the speed limit for caravans, among others, will be changed from 80 km/h to 100 km/h.
This happens after the Danish Parliament adopted an amendment to the Traffic Act on April 12, 2016, which will enter into force July 1, 2016.
After this, owners of vehicles registered for Tempo 100 driving can, with a clear conscience, step on the accelerator a little extra.
To be registered for Tempo 100 driving, the vehicle must meet a number of technical conditions, for example, relating to the vehicle's equipment.
The change in the traffic law will also mean that you can also set the speed to 100 km/h with a registered trailer.
